Outbreak Student Ministry
COVID-19 Student Ministry Plan
These are certainly difficult times. However, Jesus is still seated on his throne and he is still in complete control! Psalm 20:7 reminds us who we can turn to during every situation in life, and in whom we can trust: "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." During our church's next phase, we are going to focus on three critical areas: Small Groups, Sunday morning worship, and D-Groups.
Sunday Morning Worship
We will have 3 Sunday morning service times: 8 am, 9:30 am, and 11 am at a maximum seating capacity of 167 individuals (33% of seating capacity). The youth room will be used for overflow if more than 167 people show up for any of our three services. Our 9:30 am will still be live streamed via Facebook Live, YouTube, and our church app for anyone who may wish to remain virtual during this time.
We have modified youth small groups available for all students grades 7th-12th. Groups will meet on Sunday evenings at 6 pm, unless noted otherwise. Locations can be seen on the graphic provided. For any students/parents who wish to remain virtual during this time, we will have a ZOOM option available. Use the Personal Meeting ID to tune in on Sunday's at 6 pm.
Disciple-making groups, or D-Groups, are great ways for students to dive into God's Word. These groups are led by our adult leaders, and are designed to challenge students in their faith through Bible study, Scripture memory, and prayer. Contact us if your student is interested in getting plugged into a D-Group.
